About Me

Hi! My name is Jeremy; I'm a GML programmer and generalist indie developer based in the northeast USA. I'm a code "ducky" (helper) with the GameMaker Discord community, and have been working intensively in GameMaker: Studio and GameMaker Studio 2 for 3+ years. I have built games in a variety of genres, and helped others with many more on the GameMaker Discord. Before discovering GameMaker, I made games in the form of custom maps for Starcraft: Brood War (UMS) for over a decade.

A typing game x cave flyer hybrid-- think Lunar Lander or Space Taxi except that your ship is powered by language-- with a 1-bit art style inspired by early Macintosh games, and an ambient storyline about pursuing your ambitions...and maybe going a little too far.

Stellar Expansion
A lightweight freeware 4x (explore, expand, exploit, exterminate) game that places you in control of one of six species vying for galactic dominion. To win, you'll have to cultivate economic and technological supremacy, defend your borders from pirates and rivals, and send forth your warships to defeat your enemies!

Star Cyclone
A hyper-kinetic mashup of arcade-style space action, inspired by the classic Star Castle, and match-3. One ship-- one enormous enemy fortress-- and only your skills to make up the difference!

DriftWar
A 90's-style hovertank game, inspired by Spectre for the Apple Macintosh and Hover! for Windows 95, with a low-poly aesthetic. Master the art of hovertank piloting, and defend humanity against the AI menace!

Convergence
What if, somewhere out there, was a world just like Earth? Convergence is a short story-- playable in about 10-15 minutes-- in the form of four minigames. It explores the question of what happens when far, far away turns out to be closer to home than we were expecting.
